The Acer Liquid X1 offers a fast F1.8 maximum aperture in combination with a 13MP sensor and Acer also claims the device's camera is capable of focusing in only 0.3 seconds.
With its 5.7-inch Zero Air Gap screen the Liquid X1 falls flatly into the phablet category but the 720p resolution is lower than we would expect for a device with otherwise all around top-end specs. Under the hood the new model features an octa-core 1.7GHz processor and a quad-core GPU, 2GB of RAM and Category 4 LTE with a theoretical maximum download speed of 150Mbps.
The Liquid X1 also offers the Zoom Fit and AcerRAPID features. Zoom Fit shrinks the user interface to 4-inches to enable easier one-hand operation. The AcerRAPID button on the back of the device allows you to quickly open the camera, answer phone calls or launch an app.
